Curiosity getting ready to make its debut Drive

   NASA Curiosity Mars Rover getting ready to make it first test drive in Red Planet.  Now its about 5 day since Rover landed in Mars.  Now, NASA scientists reports that Curiosity will spend its first weekend on Mars transitioning to software better suited for tasks ahead, such as using its robotic arm and Driving.


   This software transmission will takes place from Aug 10th to Aug 13, will install a new version of software which was uploaded to the Rover's memory from Earth.

   Curiosity is a neuclear powered vehicle it carries 10 scientific instruments with a total weight of 15 times as large as the science payloads on NASA's Mars rovers Spirit and Opportunity.  Some unique instruments like Laser-firing instrument will test rocks from a certain distance, are the first of their kind on Mars.  Curiosity have some machine parts in its robotic arm which can drill and scoop, to gather soil samples.  This Curiosity likely to make a wet history on Mars.

  So Curiosity all set to make its first drive in Mars by next week...
