The Dark Knight Rises tops box office for second consecutive weekend. As far now according to BoxOfficeMojo.com reports The Dark Knight Rises crossed over $300 million at domestic box office on Tuesday. It takes only 12 days in theater to reach $394 million.
Of course there are other two films in the history of Hollywood to reach there this fast, one from the same TDKR franchise's its last edition The Dark Knight and the another one is this years biggest hit movie The Avengers.
The Avengers is the third biggest grossing movie in Hollywood of all time. In comparison with The Dark Knight Rises and The Dark Knight which was released in 2008, crossed $300 million mark on its 10th day and its 12th day collection was $334 million.
This Final edition of Batman series likely to offer more to its producers, but the tragic shoot at Colorado causes an impact in movies box office collection, but it still doing well in box office.
The Dark Knight Rises is currently this years No.3 grossing movie domestically, only behind The Avengers with $616 million and The Hunger Games with $406 million. As per Boxoffice.com, The Dark Knight Rises grosses at $556 so far.
